Bermondsey Penthouse

With the aim of creating a sophisticated space with a playful edge, ideal for entertaining, we fully refurbished this old, converted warehouse apartment. Material and texture were key to the scheme, emphasising the architectural bones of the building with fun elements added along the way.

The bold granite in the kitchen with it's ochre veining purposefully echos the yellow tones from the London Stock brick walls. Warm, dark tones of the kitchen are balanced by more neutral colours in the opposite end of this open plan space.

We didn't want skirting or door architraves to muddle the clean architectural bones of this apartment. Custom frameless doors with their exaggerated heights create dramatic openings to the rooms beyond and a seamless finish when closed.
